Loop thickness is approx 6mm so could accomodate a 10mm jump ring attached straight onto hoop without the need for a hanging hole.
You will need to source satin or leather cord - image is merely TOP TIP idea for you to try - it is pretty inexpensive and can be found at your local haberdashery store.
