Important Bits...

Is there a minimum order required?

Only if you are in the UK. As of the 1st January 2021 - due to regulation changes for businesses selling commercial goods into the UK , all UNITED KINGDOM customers will be required to spend min (excluding shipping) £135 - approx $250 AUD when placing an order on our website.

Everywhere else - there is no minimum order as such - our items do have a minimum quantity that we sell in though.

As I work to a set production schedule that must run on time. We use sophisticated production software that sets our daily running schedules and runs all order through the software at 2pm everyday so please let me know as soon as possible if we need to change your order. The double and triple handling  of orders means I am not on the laser and this impacts everyone else who has orders on the go.

Can I pick up my order?

For privacy reasons, we don't offer a local pickup service as all orders are packed and shipped from our private residence. We really appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Can I call?

If you have any questions at all email is the best way to contact, all emails are answered as a priority. 

Can I visit?

Crafty Cuts Laser is an online-only business, I don’t have a shop front you can visit or buy pre-cut shapes.

Are there student discounts?
Our prices are very reasonable for everyone. We do not specifically offer student discounts - but there are bulk discounts that will be automatically applied to your order once you reach the required minimum speed which starts at $75

Can I buy just Acrylic or Bamboo sheets from you?

Sorry, our materials are for cutting the shapes you see for sale on our site. We do not sell sheets or parts sheets of any of our materials.

Turnaround:

Please allow up to *3 - 10 days Business Days for your order you be processed and prepared for laser cutting, cut, pack before shipping, then standard postage time frames will apply once your order has been shipped. Please visit Australia Post website direct if you have any queries on the delivery time frame once we have marked your orders as fulfilled and shipped.

The above time frame also depends on how many daily orders we have received. Qty and complexity vary from order to order - this is out of our control and changes daily. 

During peak season please allow up to *14 working days before your order will be ready for shipping.

We are well into peak season from 1st September so please plan your ordering accordingly as we may need to close for ordering to deal with the volume of orders we need to cut.

Cutting Days:

Laser operates  Monday to Thursday but Crafty Cuts is a one-woman show and everything is strictly cut to order - meaning I do not hold stock of anything pre-cut.

It's just me only - operating, prepping and packing, designing, maintaining the website, answering emails & social media. During the day I need to be on the laser as much as possible - I try to answer all emails toot sweet - so just flick me an email if you need something answered.

Because we allow you to order small QTY over many colours (I know awesome right!)  this however can add considerable handling time and generally results in our cutting schedules being fully booked out each day - so what this means is the more variety you add in smaller amounts most definitely adds to the length of time your order takes to be setup, cut and packed.

So in short... * 3 to 10 days Business Days to process + Cut + Pack + Post + Then Allow for Australia Post Delivery Time

Peak Season: 
August to December  Southern Hemisphere
March to September for the Northern Hemisphere 

Shipping Days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday

I am on the laser from 7.30am till 4.30pm Monday to Thursday.

I do not cut on Friday's this day is dedicated to admin, designing and testing new goodies and general running around for Crafty Cuts.

I do like to take some time off and get out in the fresh air after a full week of smoke and fumes and the studio is closed for cutting on Weekends and Public Holidays all Social Media messages and emails over the weekend will be answered Monday morning.

NO CUTTING or ORDER PROCESSING ON **WEEKENDS

I need my order cut ASAP

We are unable to provide a rushed service - every order is treated equally as I don't hold stock and plan our daily cutting schedule upto 5 days in advance. We do not offer a rushed or 24 hour time frame. I do my very best to get all orders out in a timely manner.

We do not cut or ship on Public Holidays

Changes to our designs

We sell our shapes strictly as listed only.

All our designs are finalised and imported already into a specific computer that runs the laser cutter. Cuts with extra holes or no holes will be available to automatically choose on the listing.

Only items with modification options to choose from the listings can be modified.

Our main focus is laser cutting pre-designed Jewellery components. Our speciality is mini to med sized components. We do not cut our shapes any larger than what is available to choose on listed products.

We do not offer a custom laser cutting service.

Legal Bits

Crafty Cuts goodies are designed for small, home-based  business owners and, designers and crafters. Original artwork remains the property of Crafty Cuts Laser and cannot be reproduced in any form.

[ WHAT CAN & CANNOT BE CREATED ]

NOT ALLOWED USES

1. You Cannot copy any of our original designs and reproduce using a third party. ie Asking another laser company to copy  exact our shape to recut.

2. You cannot make/cast molds of any of our  © original designs with the intention of making that copied item for resale. 

3. You cannot cast molds of any of our © original designs and sell that that mold to a third party.

4. Crafty Cuts wholesale supplies may not be resold as wholesale supplies.

5. You may not register as a trademark items purchased from Crafty Cuts Laser.

ALLOWED USES

1. Crafty Cuts items may be used in the original form to create jewellery and accessories for retail resale.

When you order from Crafty Cuts your are agreeing to our T&C Usage.

Customers found in breech of our copyright can be issued with a cease and desist  letter or a further invoice  ranging from $100 to $500 to cover the cost of an extended licence purchase. We can also report these copied items to your website host, or ETSY

 

International orders:

Posted regular Airmail with no tracking or insurance - please allow up to 10 days for small orders and up to 30 days for large orders to arrive once posted. Sometimes these time-frames are shorter but once your item has been marked as shipped it is on its merry way and in the hands of the postal god's :) but it is most certainly on the way.

We do have other International shipping available for you to choose from at checkout.

International Customs and Duty Charges:

Please be aware of your own Country's own Import and Duty Taxes before ordering. Crafty Cuts Laser is not responsible for any extra charges incurred when your order arrives at your Country. Please check your local Govt website for your import threshold and what the Tax and Customs for goods sent from abroad may be.

Here is a link to a handy DUTY CALCULATOR  Simply input the country you are ordering from, the country the parcel is going to be delivered, the product type ( Craft supplies - Jewellery & Watches - Jewellery Parts and Auxiliary - Jewellery Assembly Sets)  Country of Manufacture ( Australia)  and value and this calculator will tell you how much you will have to pay for duties. The EU and UK have strict duties allowance please be aware of your limits.

If you have not asked for registered post and a parcel goes missing we will not be held responsible, sorry.

We do NOT mark your item as a gift as we are a TAX registered  wholesale business in Australia.
